Do you write content yourself or outsource it?

I make it a point to write content myself. At the same time I agree with the fact that there is nothing wrong with outsourcing content writing. It all depends upon the grip you have over English language and the availability of time to write more. What do you say in this regard?

 

A disadvantage to outsourcing is that you may find the style to be different from what you desire.

 

A mix of both. Depends on the project/site for which I need content.

 

I write my own articles... I have tried hiring people to write articles and blogs for me, but what happened is that I ended editing almost 75% of the articles written...

 

Do you know where I can outsource content writing?
And what are the advantages and disatvantages?

I write my own articles. I don't trust the quality from cheap article writers nor do I have the money to hire higher quality writers.

 

I agree with you that we can outsource content as well as You can hire content writer for write web page and for write other site related content. But yes we can write article and blog with ourselves if we have good command over English and grammar also.

I write the content for my book review blog but I outsource it for my extreme sports magazine. There are lots of people that have more indepth knowledge than me in extreme sports and I like them to talk about it on the site. Doing this has helped me to build up a strong community of writers. Of course I do reject any post that is poor or not written well.

It's best to write your own content. You improve your writing skills while saving yourself some money by not outsourcing. But it can be time consuming and some just don't want to, so outsourcing writing to the pros is a good option.

I actually really enjoy writing, so I write my own content for the most part.

The only downside to this is that it takes a lot of time; but to me it's worth it. Also, I love putting my "voice" into my writing, so I don't feel satisfied when I have others write the content for me.

if you have no time.... then outsource content writing jobs.... simple

 

Personally, although I am not good in English but still, I prefer to write the articles by myself. Because when outsource the articles writing, the output they produce did not meet my standard.

it depends on the time frame and quantity of content you require. If your requirement is high and within a time limit then you will have to look for outsourced content as you can not write everything with your two hands.
