Planning for Reseller Web Hosting - Need Suggestions

I am planning to start business of Reseller Web Hosting. I have gone through many companies and found "Resellerspanel.com & Bluehost.com" as cheap ones.

In Resellerspanel.com, for $80/yr - unlimited disk space, bandwith, domains, sub-domains, parked domains, e-mail, MySQL 5 Databases, etc..

I am newbie for this. I have used web hosting service since 3 years, but never tried Reseller Hosting.

What all things should I ask before making a purchase? Give your opinions..

 

You mean you want to switch to a reseller account instead of a shared account, to offer shared accounts to others? Or you mean you want to start offering reseller hosting services to others?

I've been used resellers plans from ResellerZoom.com and Hosting24.com. Both are good options. Resellerzoom is amazing good considering the cheapest prices they have.

Unlimited ... go read there TOS and you'll know how unlimited it is

 

How many clients are you expecting to have in the 1st year or so? Start with the smallest plan you need and add/upgrade your reseller account as your client base grows.

Like I said, you're going about it all wrong. There is no such thing as unlimited disk space and bandwidth. Do you have an "unlimited" space hard drive in your computer at home? They don't exist for servers either. Same goes for bandwidth. It's a marketing scam. There are always limits. Likewise, you selling unlimited everything to clients is just a scam as well.

Come up with decent plans, and go with a good reseller account that actually provides decent disk space and bandwidth without the unlimited nonsense.

You don't want to use Byet. You get what you pay for. Youhosting.com is another free provider. If you run your hosting business off a free provider, don't expect it to last long.

Never heard of them, but their 2nd plan ($24.84) is unlimited everything again.

It is not unlimited, they will put your reseller account on a normal shared server (with hundreds of other shared accounts). The server is probably only a few hundred gigs in size, they just offer unlimited because most common websites don't require too much usage, so "unlimited" sounds better than "10 GB".

Look at it this way, they are offering you a reseller plan for $80 a year which means $6 per month. They include a WHMCS license which alone if $15 per month (look odd), then they offer you "unlimited" so that they can still make money.
If you are serious about creating a reseller hosting company, then sign up for a VPS and then expend to a dedicated server from there.
