Asking to a very experienced online business man

    First question

Is it good to start only 1 website and concentrate only on it? Actually i am very good promoter of video, gaming, adult sites. Do you think i need to start 4, 5 different style websites related to video, games, pictures, humor, adult and then promote all or just stick with only 1 website and do all the best for it?

Will this make money more then 4,5 websites or what?

    Second question

How much i can make money with site like having 10,000 unique visitor? Any rough idea by selling ads privatly on forums or by using ad compnies.

    Thanks in advance.

You could probably make good money either way. But if your niche flops with only one site, you're screwed. Having at least a few sites can keep your income diversified a bit, and pick up slack if one site starts doing poorly.

If you use Google Adsense and your click-thru rate is about 4% at an average $0.10 per click, you'd make $40 from 10,000 unique visitors. It all depends on your CTR and cost per click.

I found that having too many websites is not the way to go. You'll get quickly overwhelmed and won't find the time to effectively advertise neither ones.
Having a good site and promoting it heavily is a smarter way to go.

From experience, I would focus on just 1 site. Good luck.

in my webmaster "first days" i always had new ideas and started new sites. I had about 10-15. The ideas kept on coming. One day i decided to choose one of them and do my best to make it big. That day was 1 month ago. Today i'm switching hosts due to bandwidth. The visitor number exploded!
So my advice is concentrate on one and make it big! Than do that to another and so on.. :)
    The best of luck!

If you have no experience, you should stick with only 1 website. After you see some progress and your site is starting to get popular and get you a decent income you can start the second one, the third one...But don't start several websites at once. You need to test first, see what works and what doesn't. If you don't do this, you'll waist a lot of time and none of your websites will be profitable.

I have found that too :)

I suggest starting with one, and when it is nice and big and under control, do a couple more.
