I have a feeling this forum is even slower than the vbulletin one? Anyone else agree?

It does feel slightly slow. When I click a thread it takes like 4 and a half seconds to load. How fast is your loading time?

    Lol it's pretty bad.

Im on a 20mbit connection and other forums load usually instantly. I feel like the vbulletin forum was actually faster than this xeno system.

I know xenforo is supposed to be faster. So maybe it's just cause of the site load as DP has thousands of users? It's about 3 seconds here..

Other forums it's less than 100MS... this is just way to bloated imo

Interesting. Well, I just did a speed test and my speed is at 3.49 Mbps when I'm supposed to be getting 15MBit.

So I guess it's running pretty fast if you're on a 20Mbit. Regarding the other sites that load faster, it could be because they're on a much more light-weight software like custom coded ones.

I hope they are doing MySQL offloading and replication. If so maybe DP need a hardware upgrade.

Lol we need 3 "Established members" to like our content before we can use signatures?

What kind of system is that? did you not even consider the other users that have over 200+ posts (PHXADAM) for example, now he cant use his signature/etc?

Sorry to sound rude, but if you're going to make forum rules atleast have the old confirmed legit users not have to become "established"..

It's going to be slow for another day or so... there are some backend processes going on still.

Even with the backend processes ongoing, I think it's working perfectly fine for me. Works okay for me.

Yes it's a little slower than before, but I think the admin will work out a solution.

The site design looks prettier and more high tech in general, but yes I have also noticed that it is way slower. I don't think I'm liking the tradeoff.

Okay good... ended up having to reboot one of our network switches that seemed to be giving us packet loss. Might be time to replace it.

    Connection Reset!
    Connection Reset!
At last logged in after a reset

Almost after 2-3 months i logged! Shocked to see a new trend in DP Forum software! I thought Shawn sold it to someone so there was a lot of changes but atleast you guys upgraded from vB. vB was minimalistic and i was quite adopted to it! This new DP is like a treasure hunt to play with for a week :p

Seems still buggy! I am peon! :D
    Remembering old good times...

It was slow on last Sunday, when XenForo started. Now I must say it's loading quickly.

I think admins must be working to make this quickest.

    G!
