Need Advice For My Website

I have this site http://www.play333.com/ and it is about games new and reviews
(havent earned a dollar)
How will I be earning more
Should I change it into a play online game site-can i use adsense with it?? or a
free games and roms download site-as i cant use adsense but will i be able to earn more?

 

I'd say try amazon and adsense. Make sure that you take the time to market your site as well. The logo is odd looking -- might want to change it. Good luck!

 

I voted for the free games and roms version in the poll. I think you could monetize by offering these free games/roms with perhaps ads served within the games themselves. I know this is a huge way that the app developers monetize their games and apps. OR/ if you can code, perhaps add some in-game purchase options. Leveling up, Buying new items, etc. Just a few ideas but I think you are on the right track.

I would advise you not to change. If you switch to offering free games and roms, it would be illegal as you do not have the rights to distribute those games. Also, Playing online games attract children, not gamers. You need the right kind of traffic to convert it into anything valuable.

Its great you have plans, for the website. But, how are you going to market the website?

 

I think adding a game-server or multiple game-servers to your site would be a good way to market your site. I know I am always looking for new servers for games I like to play. So if your unable to set up multiple servers maybe become an advertising place for people with servers. Than you would get the traffic for your game reviews. Not many review sites do this type of concept in fact Ive never seen it. I like to think I'm a pretty big war gamer and always searching for private servers.

I would NOT offer free game and rom downloads. That is illegal and would cheapen your site since you mentioned wanting to be like IGN. You could add play online games to another page if you want to try it out. I also really like Seemydeath's idea of adding a game server or multiple game servers if you're able to do it. It would be interesting.

I like the layout and design of your site, by the way.

 

I agree that you need think outside the box a little to get the site off the ground. Hosting servers there could be a great idea. I would also clean up your footer a little bit - it says disclainer instead of disclaimer. Also, the link for ad space has a typo.

Are all the reviews original content and something you wrote? Or is this pretty much an auto blog? If it's not original content thats going to hurt any chance of getting organic SEO traffic to your site.

 

I you will put illegal content on website then you probably get ban from adsense so think about it. Probably better will be to work on quality content.

Also you need to work on your website traffic; If you want to earn some bucks.

 

You will need some traffic for your site. After, that go for Google Adsense (it will take time to approve your application) OR Ad-Brite , you'll get some money by the viewers click on the ads.
