I am looking for the best reliable shared hosting for a WordpPress website.
We currently using GoDaddy and some of the hosting servers are so slow !

Thank you for replying! - The budget is as low as possible and the location needs to be in the US. The most important factor is the access speed and reliability.

West or East? as it varies, so you should choose a nearer place for you.
I personally have experience with ComfortHost, nice price and professional support.

I have a few blogs on Hostgator VPS (20$/month), with CPanel, and is fine.

Hostgator is good wherever you are... I was hosting with them a while ago till I sold my website and had no issues. They have a great support team... the hosting is like 10$ per month (after 1st month) for single domain with unlimited bandwidth and space... that's not a very expensive budget is it?

@abraham26 > Thank you! Why is it important to have hosting close to me? Also, I am in Florida. I need hosting where I cna host a few (up to 6 WP sites) w/o deterioration of the quality of the service

@karthikmllore > Thank You - I did hear about HostGator. I just checked the pricing and for $12 a month with month to month option I have dedicated IP and unlimited sites's hosting. I am wondering if the HostGator shared hosting is good

You should have research first before signing up to a webhost, godaddy has a bad reputation when it comes to their hosting as far as what I've read on some reviews. The best host are those that have been in the business for years. Wordpress works on any host as long as you can install the script.

@tonys10, you should review EZPZ Hosting and Turnkey Internet, both are good hosting companies with low budget hosting and good uptimes, but when comes to the Support side, Turnkey Internet is a little bit late in replying to the ticket's instead EZPZ has good support. I've never used HostGator :D

Check out hostgator or 24-7, both are cheap and reliable.

I just installed WP on shared server at HostGator and move the site there. It runs much faster than the similar site at Godaddy!

You get what you pay for, if you pay for budget hosting, you won't expect it to be very good or very fast.

I think its more important to have the server closer to your target audience. For example if you are in china selling phones online to a US market than if the server was in the us than the client would have great load times. But if you have slow internet than page load will be slow regardless of the location and speed of the server.
