Social Networking Trick I Use For Traffic

Glad to be back.

One trick I used for generating traffic was by sheer accident and I need to do more. I'm a cartoonist and fine artist. So one day I drew a toon of someone in my Facebook Friends and sent it to them. Next thing the likes and shares went through the roof. I couldn't keep up with it as I've been sick for the past 5 months in hospital but I plan on doing more.
If you're not a cartoonist, then try writing something. Not even on a friend's page but anyone who has a high friends count. Write them...drumroll....A POEM! Yep a simple poem about them being nice or beautiful or strong or whatever you can admire in them. Especially if it's something about their mom for mother's day or something like that.

Hey I might do a free cartoon for one of you to test this out. First one to respond I'll contribute. Then let's see if it works for you, you'll have to let us know if it works though is the only requirement. I'm in the U.S. east coast time so take that into consideration. So what you'll be doing is looking for one of your facebook friends who has a high friend count, hopefully a celebrity and I'll draw a funny cartoon. You post it with your url on it and we'll see how many shares and likes you get.

 

I also know a great cartoonist kid ( just 13 years of age), who can convert any image on A4 size sheet with the help of Pencil and Colors...I will test your idea for building traffic for my site.

Well, i think facebook and twitter are the top networks atm, but you have to consider that right now Google, has stopped the indexing from this side. So i don't know what effect has on engines, but on networks if you do a great management can return a good one..

How should we use it from a business standpoint?

 

From a business standpoint is the point. Businesses use all sorts of wild promotions but this is something you can have fun doing without it being spammy.

 

Great Idea . People obviously look for fun and humorous content rather than promotional BS.

 

It's really good to post cartoons on facebook page rather than posting business related topics. Have some fun!

It helps you to interact with your customers. Interacting with existing customers always helps you (businesses) to get better reputation online. even you can expect referrals from the existing customers. Also, With Social Media you can target Geo-graphically and demographically which helps you to filter your user base according to your requirement (business requirements) and concentrate only on the visitors which works better for you

 

Thanks for sharing. Actually I do quite the same strategy with my Facebook post... I search for free sources of cartoon comics and then post a funny quote with it. Humorous post really do sell in Facebook but just make sure its not offensive to anyone.

 

Facebook are best marketing solution and great stuff. You have great experience and you can make likes and some stuff, but people who have not inspiration and don't knows something what people need work hard for more likes and fallows.

 

Yes! You're spot on right! There's going to be a breakthrough on a formula or numbers level with Facebook. There are too many people who want to buy things but aren't interested in what's being promoted. Once you find what they need and want you can really make some money fast!
