    Hey everybody,

    I'm a little bit curious, how many from you are using Facebook to promote personal website. And if you use facebook for that, how you do that more exactly, by facebook ads, fanpages, fake accounts, etc? Are you happy about results?

    I use a fan page to drive traffic to my site.

    I haven't been using facebook much in the past few months, so I do not know how much
    traffic I can get from it.

    I will start getting more active with facebook in the next coming months to drive traffic to my site.

    Facebook is my second prefer to promote my website/blog. I prefer Google+ rather than Facebook to promote my brand.

    I use Facebook to promote my website. I have made a fan page and promote it in my group on Facebook and also out of it.

    Promoting your site on a fan page is depend on the Fan page you have If you have a 500K-1Million likes on a page then you can get consistently 1000 Pv's anytime.

    If it's around 100K-200K Fan page then you will not get more then 100 PV's so it's really depend on the page activeness and how you manage your page.

    In fact, using Facebook for promotion is not effective for all businesses. If you have a small IT company, i think there is no point in using Facebook because nobody will follow your fanpage. On the other hand, Fb is great if you produce or sell clothes or cosmetics
