    I do not think spoiltdiva says that having goat as pet is wrong. She just said that a joke strikes her mind on seeing goat in the list.

    There was a joke here awhile back about a guy "getting too close" with his pet goat. Do you remember the "girlfriend thread?" Do you remember when a member said that he had 2 girlfriends and I joked that one of them was a goat?:rolleyes:

    @FreeFun4Every1
    I did receive a warning 2 days ago for a joke. I think the mods felt that I was picking on someone. So I'm trying to be a bit more careful now. I do like to joke but don't want to hurt anyone's feelings.:confused:

    Yes we do need to be a bit careful with our joking and not be seen as "harrassing". Also I am a natural speaker of French and English is not my 1st language. So French slips out, and I have received more than 1 warning for this. So that's another one to be careful with.......English only!
    (apologies to the OP for straying a bit off topic)

    You don't have to worry about English in this thread because all people engaged in this thread don't have their first language as English :)

    I believe you are right. Just so we get this thread back on topic...how would I say "elephant" in Hindi? In French it's the same as in English, but we say it with an accent.:rolleyes:

    I ha
    My family has always had an OWL as a pet. And, I know many families in South India who keep OWLS as their pets. Also, please note that a pet is not just an animal in a cage but any animal, bird, reptile, insect, etc. that you feed and take care of.

    On that same note, a pet is also not livestock/bred for food, an animal kept for labour, etc, so a lot of those pets people have listed probably aren't really pets at all. Muslims keeping goats probably has more to do with Eid than being a pet, IMO.

    My new pet haathi (elephant) is beginning to cause me a few problems. Yesterday I was out walking my new elephant and he accldentally squashed the neighbors pet poodle. There wasn't much we could do as all that was left was a white spot where the poodle used to be.
    Can anyone give me any advice as to how I can stop my pet elephant from squashing all the neighborhood pets?

    Tell them to get Tamagotchi and keep it in their pocket.

    Or to have their pets genetically modified to be bigger.

    Or keep their pets in a Poké Ball.
