    I prefer the new DP because a lot of members had to post to get the 3 likes in order to be established. Many of them had never bothered to participate previously. A lot of them have stuck around because they have rather enjoyed the interaction. This place has gotten far more lively than it was.
    Also spammers are having a hard go of it and dropping like flies, that has to be considered a positive.

    I like the New DP which seems to have forced me into the community like SpoiltDiva mentioned. I remember lurking here years ago skimming for information. Eventually I drifted on, albeit to my own detriment as I am now involved in a bunch of online projects that could allow me to contribute to the community as well as prosper from it

    I like old dp only.In only dp we can know every thing clearly.The new dp is little confusing like checking the history of member,itrader etc and also it is difficult to browse forums.

    Just out of curiosity, how long did it take you to make your post? Did you have any help writing it? Did you have to use spellcheck?........Just wondering is all.:confused:

    New one's better. I didn't bother to hang around a lot back then. Now I'm trying to be active a bit now and then.

    Simple program you can run here
    if(member==spammer && member.likecount<3)
    reply("Old");
    else
    reply("new");
    getch();

    /* Still some exclusions are available */

    Everything happen in first time in our life...it's not meaning that we will never accept the new...from the history people can't break up the running environment/culture and so new thinking didn't accepted by people easily...but slowly everyone like that and accept it as a constant part of our life !!!

    I like the new look and the new strategy of DP...really love it !!!

    The real question should be, "Do established users like the new or old DP better?" :)

    The platform change has nothing to do with policy changes... the same "3 like" policy for established members would have gone into place on the old system if we stayed with it.

    I was a casual visitor on the DP forums long before I registered, and the former colour scheme and layout wasnt very appealing. The old DP was one of the worst forum themes that I have seen in a while.

    The new one is just amazing, it is a lot more pleasant to be on, and alot of the work done on adding features is really impressive :)

    I have not seen a single forum that looks half as good as the new DP forum, and I have never seen a forum with the features that this forum has. There is still a part of me that says "wow" each time I visit.

    New one by far! Like said above, it's gotten me involved in the community (even after I have gotten my 3 likes!)

    I prefer the new one!
    Nice design, way faster to load and the fantastic 3 like rule is the best change I've seen so far.

    The new DP does look a bunch better,

    Although i did like the iTrader stuff from old DP instead of the like thing.. I wonder if they will chuck in anything like that to rate users who buy and sell things.
