    I suggest you windows server platform

    i work in linux and if you have trouble try with windows. I suggest you Hyper - V virtualization.

    After Acquiring By EIG Group Hostgator Services has been Dropped Down. Recently I have Signed up with terabyet.org Business Hosting Plan & never Face any downtimes so far. Customer Support is Excellent & Polite.

    My websites are also on hostgator. I didn't have any issue until 2 months ago. But since 2 months, the site speed is ok but the dns resolving is very slow. (www.apkgator.com) Do you have the same problem? And is there any solution for this? Is it because of domain company or hosting company you think?

    I am currently using HG shared hosting and never had any issues for last 4 months. Since I never used HG VPS hosting, so I don't have any idea about their VPS hosting.
    However, I used futurehosting managed VPS hosting before I moved to HG shared and I never faced any issue with them for the 3 months that I used their service. The only reason for my move to HG was I don't need a VPS to run my sites yet and futurehosting don't provide shared hosting. But there is one cons with futurehosting. They don't offer live chat support yet.
