Why did my posts and likes disappear?

    Not that it is a big deal but recently I noticed that a lot of my posts in the last month have disappeared and along with them some likes as well. I hang out mostly at the programming forums here. So there are some serious and pretty interesting threads that are just gone.

    I am just curious what happened? Have other people experienced the same? Whom should I address about this?

    He's not alone in missing the banner. I'm sure Shawn would be open to suggestions about how to make it more obvious.
    • Scrolling marquee?
    • flashing lights?
    • Have to answer multi choice questions on the outage before gaining access to the site?

    No one likes what happened but it was a mistake. We've all made them and will doubtless make them again. It's a level playing field as we were all hit and no one was spared.
    Auctions were affected, bids lost, conversations and contacts lost, and some members need to get established again.
    So it's a bit like after a tornado hits, we just have to clean up and start over again.:eek:
