I'm due a car upgrade in a couple of months time and would be nice to know peoples' opinions on good makes/models etc and also if people like to buy new or used? I'm definitely not much of a petrol-head and normally stick to Vauxhall Corsas and Renault Cleos and the like :D

Why not to go with the old and trusted Honda, Toyota or VW?

I don't know much about them tbh. I'm just after something compact and fuel efficient which is hopefully both new and decent looking.

Whoa! Very nice. If I bought one of those now though it certainly wouldn't be in that condition...i'd be lucky if it had an engine.

Make sure to get the 1.4-litre petrol engine in the Vauxhall if you plan on going out of town a lot.

I used to run a cruise site for 7 years and was in fast car and max power so i know a little about cars.
firstly we need to know a few things, age, no claims, budget etc and off course some sort of style you like.
you cant go wrong with some vw`s audi`s and jap cars. I have always told people to stay away from french as they seem to be costly and unreliable. Vaux`s seem to be what the sheep buy, common and nothing stands out about them.

best to pick a few cars and then get quotes, i can get you a discount with Adrian flux

I`m selling my car soon, one off A3 if like it lol
