    As a penguin, I have a pet human. :)

    Joking.

I don't have a pet right now as I live in a flat (apartment) right now, so it's not a suitable environment for one. However, once I move to a house, I will get a cat, which will surely establish itself as the Queen of the Household.

Not to infuriate some cat or dog lover, but I don't like pets that much. Growing up, we always had either a cat or a dog or both. When I moved out of my parents' place, I knew I'd never have a pet of my own. One: It's a huge responsibility (feeding, bathing, playing, taking it out, taking it to a vet and so on). Two: I didn't want to be tied down. If I had to be away on a trip for a week, I wanted to be free to do so...

Now, everything changed when I got married. My wife has a black, old lab. And I tell you, it's not fun, at times, when we have to schedule our trips around the dog.

You have small four legs cute animal while your sister got big four legs gentle horse. I was thinking you should exchange animal with your daughter. :D

Btw, Your pet seems really love to sleep. :D
And look at how the dog sleep. Looks adorable. :)
It can be used as pillow.

I was about to show my pets here but they were not ready yet for publication. :p

Nice idea but i just don't get on with the ponies, they frighten the life out of me to be honest.. i leave that to the wife and daughter, i'm feel much safer with my small smelly dog.
LOL...looks can be deceiving, she's quite naughty...digs holes in my lawn, eats the strawbwerries from the garden before we can get to them...etc..etc, breath smells like crap, you don't wanna get your face to close.lol

Good idea. It is safe to play around with dog rather than playing rodeo with the horse. :p

I like the idea of girl with horse because I think it would be awesome. I have a sister riding a horse (rented in Mount Bromo, a well known tourist spot in Indonesia) while she was in Senior high school. Looks great.

You just tell us the reason to get a pet.
Life is adventurous and it is nice to get a pet that will make us smile just by looking at it. They may smell and stealing our strawberries but their behavior make us smile and think life is really fun.

I have a cat and it always walk around my legs. I couldn't move freely. Sometimes I kick it unintentionally:oops: and the cat retaliate trying to scratch my legs. I love the cat and the cat love me too. When it hungry, The cat will follow me wherever I go and speak 'miaw-miaw-miaw', giving enough food is the only choice in this situation.

Your dog looks fat. There must be lots of food it takes from your garden. You just don't know it. :D

malky66 it's funny how you can come across as someone who is a bit tough and who doesn't take any nonsense from anyone... I will never think the same about you again. Whenever you cuss somebody off on here, I will just picture you holding and stroking Stinky Breath.

By the way, my step daughter wants a pony like crazy, but where we live it won't be possible to keep it. And she also doesn't understand the amount of poop she would have to clean if we did get her one (she just turned 10).

LOL....i'm just a big softy where my girls are concerned (the wife, the daughter and the stinky pup)..you gotta be pretty tough to put up the stinky pup's breath though, it could knock a fly off a bucket of shit from 50 yards away..

My daughter's been riding since she was 5 years old (she's 12 now) absoulutely pony mad, all she thinks about, i don't get involved too much especially where all the poop's concerned..

Why not try doggie cookie bones? They sell them out here in boxes and they come in all different flavors (liver, chicken, beef etc.). Supposedly they clean the dogs teeth *AND* make their breath smell nice. Have you ever tried them out?
What they are is a flavored cookie in the shape of bones, and are loaded with vitamins and minerals.

Yeah we've tried all sorts of stuff, nothing seems to work, we have caught her eating fox poo in the garden before so it's probably something to do with that...

Have you been stalking malky66? :D

I bet old Puss (my dad's cat, no longer with us sadly) would have licked it clean lol. It was brought up with two Yorkshire Terriers and they would lick each other (for cleaning - I hope lol), like they are the same species taking care of each other. I'm sure that cat thought it was a dog. I'll never forget it chasing the neighbour's dog.

They sound delicious!!!! Only for dogs?! I might try anyway. :p

    Free the bird!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :p

Have you looked at her teeth? A rotten tooth could be the cause of bad breath. My drooling cat had one and her breath was abysmal. My father yanked it out with pliers.

He's a vet, so he knew what to do. The cat didn't approve, though

Why wouldn't the cat approve of having her tooth ripped out with a pair of pliers? Damn cats......the're so finicky!:(
