Drupal or Joomla?

    Hello there,

I am developing a content aggregator site and want to find out which CMS is better for a non technical /coding guy like myself.

The site will consist of Google map but the content are mainly news and updated information. The map will be the feature with every new uploaded content.

    Thanks in advance.

I know there is a Google Maps extension available for Joomla which would be perfect for the type of site you are building. Personally I also find Joomla very simple to manage.

Use any tool to check which is more popular. Joomla is losing users and Drupal is gaining. Don't take my word for it just google "Drupal vs Joomla" and you can find a lot of material on that.

I've worked with both Drupal and Joomla. Both are very powerful. However, Drupal seems a lot easier to work with and their developers seem to be more on the ball.

Can you give more details, in which way Drupal developers are more on the ball than Joomla developers?

If you're not very technical then I'd suggest Wordpress. If you're slightly more technical then I'd suggest Joomla or Drupal.

I used both cms but Drupal is more challenging then joomla. Drupal is wonderful you can make any kind of website by customization.

I have used both extensively. Stay far away from Drupal if you are not a programmer. It is very good but designed to be very powerful, extensive and extensible for programmers. Joomla and Wordpress are much more user friendly.
