    Its usefulness goes in the same vein as facebook's hashtags. You keep using them in your posts, but deep inside you know they are useless.

    That's certainly just the same idea, I wonder whether they just productionised it or bought the rights. Say's on the site I posted they've sold 14,000 and at $30 a pop that's not bad money!
