What sort of niche are you looking for? For example I am a skilled a passionate political blogger who can easily fulfill the requirements you have set....but if you need articles on Finance...I'm no good at that. What sort of topic?

You ignored my Private Message. You ignored my message above. You posted an extremely vague reply that doesn't pertain to anything posted. Perhaps your company is not a diversified asset we should be applying at considering you cannot even answer a simple question which should have been incorporated in your original thread post. Thank you for the consideration but I feel my skills, which do meet yours, are best a better company. Merry Christmas,

I dropped you a PM too. I think I'd be a great fit for your blog content needs, considering I've been a writer here at DP for the last 5 years. I hope my PM was detailed enough to get your attention. The rate you're offering is top notch, I agree!

Alright, so here's my experience working with them.

First: For #5, they require you to be online through a good majority of the day, yet they usually take hours to respond and my communication with them has been very minimal. They're on for a very short time through the three days that I've been working with them.

Second: They stress the importance of "quality" and "originality" about 1,000 times before they give you a paid trial article.

    Now, here's the fun part...

I did a trial article called "SEO Predictions For 2014". I submitted it to them, they loved it and I thought all was well. Instead of being paid like you normally get for an article, here was my experience instead. He kept adding requirements and adding things that I had to add to the article (requirements that he never told me about in the first place). I needed to add a URL (naturally) inside the article and keywords that had absolutely nothing to do with the context of the article that I just wrote.

The article was focused on SEO, was 1,600 words and he wanted me to add "synthetic grass" in there for some reason. Oh, and one more thing, make sure you include relevant images in the article. Oh, and one more thing, make sure you add other links to high authority websites throughout the article. Oh, and one more thing, make sure the images are a dark background (we can't use light backgrounds).

So all in all, here's the requirements for an article:

1 - They need to be well researched while being rushed.
2 - They need to have relevant images that are 640 x 480 and a dark color (no lightly colored images)
3 - You have to include links all throughout the article to random relevant sources of information. (Not references, just random places with high authority).
4 - You have to somehow include keywords into the article that make absolutely no sense. I had to somehow fit synthetic grass into the article and make it look natural.

It's been 3 days and I have yet to be paid for the trial article I wrote for them. The communication on Skype is beyond horrible, they're only on for about 30 minutes a day and then I don't hear from them for an entire day. I'll edit and update this post if anything should change or if I receive any kind of payment for the trial (despite them asking me if I want to be paid now).

Oh, and one more thing, payment for your first article is done immediately but payment for following work is only paid after 1 week. After that, payment is only done after 2 weeks.

If all of this sounds worth it to you for $15, have fun.

Well to be fair, I should stop looking at forums and job boards. Oh well, that reminds me, it's time to actually setup the website and move away from the cesspool.

Just to add some clarification: I got contacted finally at 12:48 EST and they told me they didn't know that I wanted to be paid.

    They sent me $15.

So if you do write for them, you don't get compensated if you go over their 750 word requirement. Just letting people know. I was sent $15 even for the 1,600 word article.

If you want people to be online most of the time per your requirement, maybe you guys should do the same.

You were clearly informed of the requirements before you started.
We even told you about image requirements on this thread and in the chat.
We also told you about the link requirements before starting.
If you haven't got the salt to create a natural link inside an article then you should not have applied as you are not qualified.
We never asked you to write more than 750 words, you did that on your own accord so we cant be held liable.

Short to say the article was mediocre and never got published as it was very generic the only thing it had going for it to be honest was the small bit of humor spilled over to the side of it, you should be thankful as it was useless to us and we still paid you.

Well that's rather funny seeing as you were quite pleased with the content when it was written and delivered to you.

#1 - It took you and your "partner" hours or sometimes days to respond to simple inquiries or messages when you require all of your writers to be online "at all times".
#2 - The requirements kept being added on as time went by. Every couple of hours, I'd get a new message from your partner asking me to add something else into the article.

Good luck to anyone who wants to write for this person and his "client". I have no idea exactly what he's looking for. He gives you an exact title and a laundry list of requirements (don't worry, they'll add more onto it) and that's about it.

Just don't insult him afterwards, or else your work will be regarded as mediocre when it wasn't at the time of delivery ;)

This is one of those clients that may cause headaches and frustration.

Maybe you guys should try practicing one of your very own rules. I'm not exaggerating when I say it takes them days to respond to messages. It took three days just to be paid for a trial article.

    Oh and P.S.
You won't be dealing with this poster when you're doing the content, you'll be dealing with his business partner that's not located in the US. Good luck to anyone who wants to work for these two.

First you say we took days to reply( All that within a timeline of 3 days), then you say we send you a message every couple of hours.

I knew writing was not your strong suit but lying is not your strong suit either is it? ;)

    Carry on.

You and your partner both had the worst response times I've ever seen. You would literally send a message, ask me a question and then log out for a few hours. Sometimes, it actually did take an entire day to get a response from you.

It's just ironic seeing that you want people that are online "all the time."

Not only that, but why on Earth did you respond to this thread 28 days later after a response was posted and then go on to create another thread asking for the same thing?
