LeakitLive.com - Help, can I get some advice for development?

Hope this is the right place.

My buddy and I were arguing (not really) what can be done with this domain leakitlive.com. He thought maybe a music site and I thought it'd better suit breaking news. Any ideas?

make it some sort of a wikileaks clone, but not for the political things, more like leak anything to journalists type site.

 

Mmm! Yikes, I am already thinking of the outcome for that and my liabilities. BUT, I must add, you're on to something.

Maybe something less intrusive (NO military secrets), but a place where journalist (or others) can leak information that would otherwise soon to be news. Like, be the first to "leakitlive".

 

A live video streaming site about corruption, police brutality etc.

 

That is a cool domain good luck figuring something out. Maybe you could do it as something to do with video news. Aggragate YouTube news or something.

 

Thanks. I have gotten excellent feedback here and elsewhere; however, I'm just thinking the possibilities. Maybe a live webcam site? See, so many ideas and it makes my head spin. But, I do not want to start something and change my mind. LOL

 

Stay away from adult related stuff its not a good business to get into.

 

Depends where you are getting your information from and what the information relates to.
If you get some good, up-to-the-minute sports information you could really become the place to go to for people to find the latest trends, teams, results etc.
If you have the latest fashion trends, ditto.
New tech trends and products.
Gadgets.
So, I guess the question is, "What information are you getting?"
I, personally, would stay right away from political information, security leaks and anything that might get you severely sued, hounded or imprisoned.
Leakitlive is a great domain name but may attract unwanted attention if you start publishing questionable stuff.
Music. Videos. Justin Bieber (now: Bizzle! lol). Personalities in the media. Do you want to be a serious info site or do you want to be a hip, happening site?

Sports, now that sounds very cool too. Like trades, scores, sports news etc. Hollywood is a good thought too. Celebrity gossip and more.

Gosh, my head is spinning and I hate to make the wrong choice. LOL

My first thought was a celebrity gossip site, something where you could post news scoops or paparazzi photos... lots of possibilities in this thread. Great domain!

 

Wow, again, thanks. Everyone has been very productive with opinions and compliments. I love the celebrity gossip too. Now my head is really spinning. LOL

 

I would do a straight up naughty site. You can get girls to preform live shows for viewers and have them pay a very high membership fee.

A friend mentioned something similar to a site where a person can upload videos (as it happens), IM and photos. Gosh, so many choices and one brain. LOL
