I lost a good friend yesterday

    Yesterday, got stuck in traffic at the traffic lights when someone without rego, (so car is illegal to be on the road) decided to not put their brakes on and hit us at high speed.

    Me and my kids wrote a poem together,doing so made them smile.

    I am hoping others find some amusement in this. If you read this and enjoy it, then do let me know. Thankyou.

    I remember when I met you
    you sparkled in the sun.
    I knew from that moment
    that you were the one.

    We went everywhere together,
    from the east to the west,
    and you never once complained,
    you truely were the best.

    Anytime I was stuck at work,
    you would patiently wait,
    You never once complained
    even though I was soo late.

    I remember we went to the drive ins,
    you didn't even watch the show.
    but it was nice to have you with me,
    and that makes my insides glow.

    The time we went to the beach
    You didn't even get wet.
    But you carried all my swimmers,
    and even my kids snorkeling set.

    Three years of adventures,
    three years of happy times,
    It is not fair what happened to you
    you died before your time.

    you gave up your life
    to save my son,
    when a drunk driver did,
    a hit and run.

    Sleep well my dear,
    you will forever be my one,
    my one and only,

    I'm so sorry to hear about this Matt. This is an incredibly traumatic experience for you and your kids. I hope you're all OK.
    There can't be too many 121s left on the road.
    Let's see if we can wipe them all out by the end of the year.

    Sorry to hear that. I remember this happened with me some where in 1993 when I lost my best friend.

    Its unbelievable, he came in my dream in early morning saying that he doesn't has cash money to return to me so please accept this cheque and I said that please go and let me sleep. After a few moments, door bell rang and my father waked me up from the sleep telling me that my friends have come. I walked up to them to hear that my best friend is no longer in this world. I was shocked because only a few moments back he had came in my dream.

    Then the same incident repeated somewhere in 1999.

    Till date, I am still trying to find an answer to all this.
