Skype not Working

    I installed Skype and checked for updates, and the place where there should be login Form I am getting blank screen and no form to fill login details.

    Which Operating System are you using? Version and whether it is 32 or 64 bit.

    Apparently, Skype uses Internet Explorer settings. A crappy dependency to have, really.

    this solution not working :----
    Try this.
    a) Click Start.

    b) In the search box type cmd

    c) Right click and select Run as administrator.

    d) Type the following commands and press ENTER.
    cd\

    cd windows\SysWOW64

    regsvr32 jscript.dll

    regsvr32 vbscript.dll

    regsvr32 jscript9.dll

    Restart your PC.
    Now try running Skype.

    when typing - regsvr32 jscript.dll
    I get error - Dllregisterserver failed..


    I am using windows 8.1
