Can you explain more about this? There is a Chinese law being broken when you come to someone's aid?

I did a little research online and all that I could find is the fact that there is no Good Samaritan law in China and that the liability judgments that have been handed down by the civil (not criminal) courts have been nonsensical, making it a bad financial decision to help someone in need. Long story short: if you assist someone who has been injured in an accident, you may become responsible for that victim's medical bills despite having had no part in the original injury. In the courts' eyes, you must be guilty of something (otherwise why would you have helped?) and, therefore, are liable for damages (medical bills, etc.) because you helped the victim. Wow.
