New website idea........possibly looking for partners

I know there is one now but my partner owns the domain copycontest.com

And we are thinking of creating this. A site where someone submit their idea or the type of marketing copy they envision and other copywriters submit their concepts of what the copy should be and the owner will pick the winner. Kind of like 99designs, designcrowd, etc

How many people think this will do good. The other site that is doing this now is doing great!

How is the money made?

 

Just like Design Crowd and 99Designs do it. You sign up and there are packages per say. For instance you pay $100 a can get up to 30 or more different ideas on Business Names, Taglines etc submitted by copywriters. The company keeps a listing fee and the winner (Copywriter) that is chosen gets the rest. You can give feedback on submissions by copywriters, etc.

Copyshoppy.com is the only company that we know of doing this. Very cool concept and time for competition!

 

That sounds like a good idea, I should add this to my website. Lucky for me, I'm a developer.

 

You can add anything you want to your website but without a catchy name it will go no where. If your in advertising you know this well

And your not going to get this done with some crappy wordpress site

Catchy names has nothing to do with this, lol. Wordpress is for blogging, what does this have to with anything?

 

Catchy name will get your site traffic. Adding this concept to your site will do nothing.

 

LOL. Want a cookie? I have a plate of them. Traffic is golden, content is king.... so you know.

What if I already have the traffic? Adding it to my website when I already have traffic will do a lot.

By the way you may want to get your site de-bugged sooner than later.

And technically its not our idea, its one that is being done already. Oh yeah we came up with an auction site too, dont guess there is one of those available online is there? Ha
