    Hi!

I wanted to develop a list (Still in the process) of up-to-date "must - have" free software.

    Is the AdSense placement overkill?

    Thank you

But aren't people more likely to click on the left side, since thats where site navigation stuff usually is?

That's what I find to: more clicks on the left side.

I think you have too much ad on that page. I'd ditch one of the two ad-units in the center and wrap your normal text around that. Think about what your visitors want, as much as you would about the profit at the end of the day. Return visitors = more likelihood of links to your site = more visitors.

I would have through that the left column would outperform the right side because people will think that it is part of the normal navigation of a website.

Good looking site, if your going for accidental clicks your right on the ball. I would suggest spreading the ads out a little bit, when I first opened your page I saw like 85% ads and 15% content... Until I scrolled down that is. After that there were no ads until the bottom.

I always say, you want it so that at any point, your users can see an advertisement.

Hope that makes sense, good luck, its looking good!
