which domain sounds best for my project

    Not here to spam, but I have a project called I4u.biz - the aim of the site is that users can create a simple website with a free subdomain. ie, user.i4u.biz

    Problem is I have never been truly satisfied with my choice of domain for the site. I like something short, as it is easier for the end users to share their websites with others.

    Here are the options I have:
    ebizcard.com.au
    minicard.com.au
    minicard.biz
    thev.cards
    myv.cards (stands for my virtual cards... but I just know someone will end up registering lick.myv.cards....)

    Out of these domains, please let me know which is best -> like if you were to join and be a member, which one would you more likely join under? Also if you were to get a free subdomain, which one would you prefer?

    One option that I am considering, is that I can move the main site to another domain, while users still get the subdomain of user.i4u.biz

    I'd suggest getting more creative. Toss away the "keyword" idea in your domain names and create something that sounds catchy.

    Just think, do any of these names really use keywords...
    EBay
    Google
    Amazon
    YouTube
    Hulu
    Yahoo
    Bing

    You can get more mileage out of a name that is fun, rather than one that is "keywordy".

    minicard is definitely the best option you listed - either .com.au or .biz

    If you're aiming more toward businesses than I'd go with .biz, but
    probably .com.au for the general populace.

    Thanks for the opinions guys, I do appreciate it. I like minicard.com.au but it looks like a total mess when you have the usersite.minicard.com.au
    believe me I am still trying... when they were handing out all the good domains, I must have been in the bathroom
    (plus the namecheap bug has been holding me back substantially as well)

    EDIT:
    Forgot to mention I also own:
    gobiz.cards
    gobizcards.com

    I am open to suggestions, including names that I have not listed here.

    I like minicard.biz or gobizcards.com as these look more professional and are not locale based like the .au domains would be. Unless I lived in Australia, I would not want my domain name to have a .au attached to it and I see no reason to limit your potential user community to any one area. I don't like the ones with a .card domain at all.
