Look at a site like Digital Point. It is a forum. Lots of interaction which means other people are producing lots of content for you. This is one area Google still has not clamped down on. The "build backlinks daily" comment above could be very problematic.

I actually agree with building backlinks daily, what is so bad about it?

Instead of building backlinks daily, Build High Quality Content that baits on links automatically.

My advice would be to never place a single backlink yourself, if your content is good enough people will link to it if not then try harder.

If you can't get natural links then you're in the wrong game I'm afraid.

The advice from Hunny yadav is years out of date.

I don't think that's the case. There are many influential bloggers writing case studies about their experiments with backlinks during this year (including the latest google update) and they are positive about building a foundation of backlinks from web 2.0 sites, social media and content marketing sites.

My advice to you, if you run a blog, is to network with other bloggers in your market. Not niche, but market. Comment on relevant blogs and post on forums, then contact them and make relationships. Soon enough you'll be able to guest post on their blogs and you'll build good targeted traffic.

Oh and also write very good content, share it on social media and the other usual stuff.

    Hope it helps!

    Use Forums.

This is an easy method -- but can bring hundreds to thousands of VERY TARGETED visitors to your site a month. There are some people bringing 14,000 visitors a month, with this 1 traffic strategy.

Next, I would focus on learning 1 paid traffic method.

By mastering both a free and paid traffic strategy, you can generate all the traffic you will ever need for your business.

    This is what I use!

    1. Creating content for my blog and social media profiles on a regular basis which is optimized for SEO
    2. Sharing blog posts on social media and get re-shares, retweets using Empire Avenue
    3. Commenting on forums and blogs really works nowadays
    4. You should build an email list - It's non-negotiable
    5. Consider using paid traffic techniques

The most important key beside testing and learning is persistence!

You might find John Reese's traffic secret course useful, do a search on ebay and you should be able pick it up for around 50$

There's nothing wrong with "building backlinks daily" if you don't mind getting penalized at some point and not showing up in the search results at all.

The fact is, while you can generate a handful of high quality do-follow backlinks here and there over time, the only types of backlinks you can build up on a daily basis are either nofollow, or low quality, "spammy" links that will get your site penalized.

Forums, blogs and videos are some of the free ways you can get quick and fast traffic. The traffic can be directed to anywhere you want.

    Forum Posting

    • Do a Google search for your niche forum.
    • Get about 2 or 3 that permits links in signatures and contain active users.
    • Check out the members online statistics
    • The number of Discussions, Threads and Replies will indicate the level of participation the forum receives.
    • When was the last post made. If the last post is beyond a week. Then take a stroll
    • Read forum rules to get acquainted with how each forum works. It varies from forum to forum
    • Stick to 2 or 3 forums to prevent spreading yourself too thin and to avoid burn out
    • Post and keep on posting.
    • Offer useful comments and contributions. Offer value on the forum
    • Search the forum using your related keywords.
    • Build an online credibility and reputation for yourself within a sub forum.
    • When you offer useful comment comments and they like it, they will naturally click the link in your signature.
    • Random posting on forum is just a waste of time. You need to be committed to it.
    • Avoid short and one line responses.
    • Once in a while, if you have useful information that you want to share, then start a thread.
    Youtube

It is another way of getting consistent and free traffic back to your site. You can either decide to brand your name or your site or both of them using youtube.

    • Create a channel.
    • Do a research on keywords to target low competition keywords to make it easier for you to rank.
    • Type your keyword in the search bar to discover the type of content for your audience wants and note how the titles are crafted.
    • Draw a schedule on how often you will be uploading your videos.
    • Create great videos that will be of benefit to people.
    • Ensure that the first 150 words of your description are well crafted. This is what will show in the search listings.
    • Start the description with your main KW and the url to your site. Ensure the url is clickable by adding h ttp://.
    • Add your channel at the end of your description. This tells google that all videos with that url in the description belongs together.
    • At the end of the video, include a strong call to action that will tell people what to do.

No one can honestly make this claim. Google factors in much more than what you mentioned to determine where you'll rank in the search results.

The biggest factor is going to be your consistency.

If you blog consistently, and share it...

If you produce video content consistently, and share it...

If you post pictures on Pinterest and Instrgram consistently, and share it....

If you post on forums consistently....

If you consistently do those simple, and fun things, you will slowly gather a following that will start sharing your links and content, which turns into higher rankings and more traffic. But will you be consistent? (One of my personal struggles...)

Don't focus on link building or any of that BS. Link Exchanging was popular in 1999 when Angelfire/Tripod/Geocities were big. Directory Submission was huge in 2005 when Search Engines could be tricked. Blog Commenting = Spam. PR Releases = Corny and not effective. Again...fuck Link Building.

Focus on content. Content that will 1. be found easily via search and 2. content that is COMPELLING and INTERESTING enough for people to want to talk about it and link to it from Blogs, Social Media Outlets, and other web sites.

If you want more visitors all you have to do is create something worth looking at and talking about. That is it.. it's irrelevant if you have a blog, youtube channel, instagram account, twitter, or web site.
