    Hi,

Do you work on your business on occassions such as holidays? Like Christmas, Easter etc. and if you do, then do you offer anything special to your clients and potential clients?

I don't work a lot on holidays but sometimes yeah, like I am gonna work on Christmas this time and have slashed the prices of my Directory Submissions to up to 50% :p So what do you do on occasions such as these?

You are supposed to put your prices up at Christmas, and slash your prices in Jan.

I think that this applies for normal retail businesses. For B2B type industries, sales usually take a huge hit around the holiday. I have seen website traffic on B2B sites drop over 50% of their normal between Thanksgiving and Mid-January. For those businesses it is almost necessary to offer some extra incentive to keep sales going.

I like to use the holiday season as a time to catch-up or do some extra work. I try not to work on the actual holidy but if something comes up of course I'll be there. This month so far I will be breaking my traffic record on my hosting site, but I have not seen an increase in sales with the extra traffic.

I'll probably end up doing a little bit of work on Christmas b/c there's nothing else going on this year. But not for clients... I'll ignore them for a day or two and just work on my own sites or something. :D

usually we tend to drop our inventory because finance sector is down at that time and thats where most are sites are based on.

Rise your prices before the holidays, and drop them on the holidays so that it looks like a discount :D

We spend Christmas just like any other holiday they are all the same a work day, because we sometimes need to catch up with our work because during the normal working hours sometimes we are so distracted by the graphics artwork that we see from correctus that all our work stops while we marvel at the correctus Masterpieces

Hence the reason why we work holidays;)

We may offer specials but it depends on the market feedback at the time

I don't celebrate any of those holidays. Just another day for me. I'll probably be posting here just like I am now. Oh! Most likely continuing to build new sites. I am up to 51 now. Just built another 6 this morning. LOL Phew! This is hard work!

Christmas and January is for planning and working more on my sites for me. Not a huge one for marketing and conversion for my niches.

I think y'all are missing the point here. YOU will not be working. Correctus will be working, you will just be enjoying your holidays while they slave away, and Ebenezer Correctus IT tells his people they can have half a day for Christmas, will put NO MORE coal on the fire, and that tiny Sanjay will also have to come to work on his crutches! Bah Humbug :(

We are working 24x7x365, hence there are less chance to enjoy these holiday unless we manage our shift.
