How to teach kids?

Hello friends,
Hope you all are fine. Actually a friend of mine, He is teaching kids in a school. But as you know the habit of kids if they read now after some time they will forget all the thing which they read. So I want to know, How can he teach the kids?

 

The first challenge is to grab their attention. Attention spans are getting shorter and shorter.

To do that he has to make sure that the subject is presented in an appealing way, that kids can relate to.

 

Repetition is key in any learning experience, but especially so with kids. Make sure that there are plenty of reinforcing exercises for the kids to do to complement the lecture/instruction topic.

 

Learning by experience. Make your activities fun and engaging so they will remember it.

 

I think example is better than any advise. You may try to say good stories, like ghost or ancient stories. Sometimes by the playing any games you can tech the kids.

 

thanks friends to share your opinion with me, i want to tell u he way of teaching kids. He teaches them like with fun & connect the story with games or other thing by which then understand easily.

 

Just tell your matter as song then they can easily understood what you want to tell.

 

you mean to say he should read the books as sing a song.

 

You can let him watch an educational program. There are many children educational show you can find at YouTube.

 

I recently came to know that one teacher started learning kids on YouTube. He prepares videos himself and teach students in the classroom. He made a channel where he upload videos So, students can learn anytime by rewind / forward.

P.S. I wrote for higher secondary students.

 

You can ask him as he is the teacher He got in that school that means he has the ability to teach the kids!

 

if the students forget what you taught (they did not understand), it can either be: the topic is not suitable for their age/level or his method of teaching is not suitable for the learning personality of the student(s). make sure you have the proper motivation then make the activities engaging and fun. recap of past lessons also helps.

 

Try to make them believe in themselves. A key to motivation is not a competition but just a sheer enjoyment of learning.

A few years ago I was have experience with kids, but not in the school but in a martial art club. I was practicing aikido with them.

When I start to training in the first year I sad: Omg it is very hard to master your own mind, especially when you are in situation when have to choose between life and death, but... To master a group of kids is definitely the hardest task for your mind! First rule with kids is that you should show love to every child in the group. Second, never try to lie them. Third, and the end of the training always reward them!

 

Think you have to try and make learning enjoyable.

 

The best thing that your friend can do would be to try and relate to these kids. It's hard sometimes, but in the end it's worth it because they will pay more attention. Children respond well to things that they know. So, if he's teaching them a lesson try to incorporate it to some cool new video game or social media site. If you talk about that, then they will start to pay attention.
