    I really can't get what's so bad about asking that question. Any writer applying for any job here will FIRST be interested to know what the pay being offered is. There's no point in carrying the discussion on if there's going to be a disagreement on the pay factor ultimately. In fact, by asking the question firstly and directly, the poster is saving both of you a lot of time which seems quite valid as you URGENTLY need that content.

    Absolutely agree with Content Maestro! Otherwise, you could waste 10 minutes discussing the work and then disagree over the payment.
