Anyone work for abeam.com outsourcing?

A David Hall claiming to be from abeam.com comes on my Skype offers me a 1 years contract full time. Late they send a contract to sign etc. They requested all my details as well as bank account and Skrill for payment.

Are they a real outsourcing company?
Anyone have any experience with them??

 

I do not have experience with this "company" but no legitimate employer/contractor would need your bank account number or other financial information. I would be very, very careful and highly suspicious of this "opportunity." And I would NOT provide them with any financial information whatsoever.

 

Well, I haven't heard of them and I'm in the freelance business for almost a decade.

Their pitch seems shady, especially if they want all of your info straight away. I would be very careful. Their reviews are pretty sketchy too.

 

Yeah it turned out to be an elaborate scam.

 

Yea, I also got it yesterday. They offered me a lot of work and said a team of ten will contact me on this today. But I told him about this thread, after that he is not even seen on my Skype. Below is his Skype profile..

Yeah that's him. That's a fake pic and fake name. I think maybe abeam.com is a fake scam company.

 

Hi there! David also contacted me. He seemed to be a nice man and professional. I was interviewed through skype with 7 participants but only one questioned me. I was hired and they asked some information of me like resume, formal photo and of course my paypal email which I always gave and even published in some freelancer sites (because I don't have a bank account). I am not hesitant and also trusted them because there was no money involved upon hiring. They even give me a time sheet for my work log as an SEO Specialist. I will follow this thread too. Maybe I can help you with your doubts whether abeam/David Hall is legitimate or s scam. Keep in touch!

 

Its a Scam. They will make you work for a month and end up not paying you. So they get a free month's work.
BEWARE!

 

I can confirm he is a scum. He tricked me into believing he works for ABeam Consulting.
He came as recommended by a person who I know and trust.
There was interview process just as described above.

 

Never heard of it. If you're not sure about this. Don't go forward.

 

My team and I have actually done a project for him in January. He was available all that time but today he disappeared and access to development server was totally revoked.

The project named Trendzmania was to scrape content from shop.nordstrom.com and run a internet shop on a Spree engine. He explained that he is actually making a sister site for same client.

Now I think they are going to trick visitors into thinking they are visiting real internet shop and get them to purchase goods with discount, but they are not going to actually ship it. So another scum.

Yeah he saw my previous clients name on oDesk profile and came on Skype saying she recommended me. When I asked her she said she didn't know any such person.
Immediately I got suspicious.

26th January David Hall have been send me a Contract form. Every contract form have mitsui.com company's logo with watermark. The email address is . He told me mitsui.com have need to a Marketing Expert. So you can got this offer. I also check the document about mitsui.com company. But I haven't see any illegal document. I also contact the mitsui branch office in New york. They have to say's "Yes it's our company and it's our company email address" . Then I was sign the contract form and send my all document about my Bank Information, National ID Card , Picture . I was start my work in 28th January. He send me my task everyday. One things I was working in this website trendzmania.com . I also finish my everyday task very carefully. But 13th February the website is block also his gmail and skype both block. I have try to contact David but i am failed . I also call mitsui.com . But they don't know about David. They also said to me here is not any David Hall. But my question is how can he send me the contract form from this email "" ? How is possible? I haven't got any payment from the company. I am very worried. How can i got my payment? My family depended on my work. At first time he told me I can't working any other company just only working with him. So, I have declined other offer. Have any solution ? Please tell me. If anyone want to see the contract form I can upload the file.

One of my friends referred David Hall.. He contacted us through Upwork. He told me that he is an existing client and he was suspended because he tried to pay the freelancer outside upwork. He showed old profile link. Then he told that he has long term job for me. In Article Writing. I was asked to sign a contract (kind of NDA). I started working on articles related to solar generators and all. Our payment cycle was decided to be every 15 days. After 15 days, he stopped answering my calls and chats.
