    Wait what?!?! Am I dead and stuck in a parallel reality? There is no if's and but's to proper grammar. Its either right or wrong. There is no "well I'll just write that this way because I feel like it", its not philosophy to be open to interpretation...

    Plus, we are talking about more than one sentence and let me tell you, if anyone made a quick assumption the first time, the other replies did nothing to change that notion...

    However, it's worth noting that many people don't know the difference, hence they may advertise a "content editing" job which really means copy editing, or vice versa. The best thing to do is ask the OP directly.

    Anyways, I have no complaints after reading this sentence of yours:
    Can't believe someone who wrote this could find fault with a much better sentence:

    Some statements are offensive though. Like, is it really necessary to bring an applicant down? Given the fact that you really are not the one who's going to hire him or whatever. That's how he markets himself, and it's up to him to back it up and prove his skills and capabilities.

    I fully agree with you Vitarank. Just look at the subject and then guess what might be the reaction of the person who was looking forward to hire someone? Actually there are people who loves to poke their nose everywhere like a pig :) :) It is like a disease that cannot be cured till the end of his/her life... may be like a new one that might be termed as, "poke flu" :) :) :)
