Boy, I really do not understand this. First, why would you want to get into a bath filled with chocolate? Do you really want your entire body to be covered in chocolate and then have to wash/scrape it all off? Chocolate is great for eating, but for bathing? Not so much. Then, what do you do with the chocolate that has been bathed in? I cannot imagine eating any of it and if you leave it too long in the bathtub, won't it harden at room temperature? This one really baffles me, but obviously this guy has more money than he knows what to do with.

 

Same here, I find it baffling, some people find it erotic, basically I think you just end up looking like morph...which isn't very erotic at all...lol

 

Exactly. That money would have served a much better purpose had the millionaire donated it to some charity or for a social welfare cause.

 

You have nailed it! Not only do I not understand this bathing in chocolate thing, but this guy and his lady are clearly displaying their shallowness as human beings. "Look at me! I can bathe in chocolate while people are suffering right down the street. Aren't I special and important?"

 

I just checked this article on Wiki - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Causes_of_poverty. Perhaps, such behavior somehow strikes a chord with the following two listed in Direct Causes (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Causes_of_poverty#Direct_Causes):

1. Lack of financial, investing and shares trading knowledge
2. Overspending

 

This situation makes me think more about the causes of wealth. Sometimes, it is because of hard work, discipline, and intelligence. Other times it is just plain dumb luck (being born into it or simply being in the right place at the right time.) My guess is that this fellow falls into the second category, based upon his actions.

 

Millionaires... Maybe he just ran out of things to spend on and then come up with this out of this world bath.

Milk and Chocolate are good for the skin though. With them together? I'm not really sure! I'd be glad to try that bath if I was given a chance and they are somewhere near where I am

 

Well, IMO, the fact that he could not just spend his wealth and enjoy it, but chose to publicize his strange extravagance means that he is pathetically seeking validation from others. And he doesn't just let the news out...he poses in his bathrobe with his lady (who obviously feels the need for the same pathetic validation) in their private bathroom. And it is right in character for this guy. Here is a quote from the Daily Mirror in the UK:

Anyway, he seems to have earned his wealth and is free to do as he pleases, of course, but he obviously is not the self-confident playboy that he tries to paint himself as being. He's more like the kid in the playgroup that needs constant attention.
