My post took about 10 minutes to write. I am degree educated in English and didn't need to reference some crappy website with only one example of the idiom (probably the first one in Google that you came across). As for correcting myself, even if I had, it would at least show I can accept simple corrections without launching a scathing attack on the corrector. I actually accepted with good grace that there are usages for the idiom you tried to use (however incorrectly) and if I'm honest I'm thinking this was a slight overreaction your part. I intended the original correction as only slight, passing humour (as evidenced by the smiley). You nearly had a heart attack in response.

To be butt-hurt by such puerile nonsense is an indication of an underdeveloped or immature psyche. My advice (which I know you will reject) is - grow the fuck up and don't take everything so personally [lit. waaaaaaaah waaaaaaaaah].
