How to make sure we are not getting scammed?

Now and then I get magic pill offers that would change my life and help me grow my online business from someone I have never heard. Usually, the offers are irresistible but I had already wasted a ton of my heard earned money.

Are there any rules to follow to avoid being scammed online?

 

If something sounds too good to be true, then it always is.
How many times have you fallen for these "irresistible" offers?

 

Ask TONS of questions and check into every answer you receive.

Is there a specific service or product in question?

I should be able to tell within a few second if it's a scam or not.

 

If someone truly had a great secret way to make money online or offline, the last thing that he or she would do is share it with someone else, especially for a small amount of money. So, ask yourself this question with all of these offers: "If the seller can make millions with these secrets why is s/he not just doing that? Why is s/he trying to sell the method, itself, for significantly less money?"

And forget the part about "wanting to give back", yada, yada, yada as that is sheer nonsense. They could donate to charity much more easily and efficiently.

 

I have to agree that if something sounds too good to be true, then it probably is. If you're thinking to yourself that what they are offering can't be real, then in the end it's probably not. If it's something that is semi old, then I would also check online to see if it has views. From those reviews if there are any you can tell if it's real.

 

If you try to get something for nothing, you will often get nothing for something.
