My Dropshipping Journey with AliExpress

I really like that you've taken your time to put together this awesome compilation of information regarding dropshipping and Aliexpress, since lately ive been very interested in the subject, and have been researching alot before jumping into a project of my own.

As many of the others here have stated, I to am very interested in the plugin you're mentioning.
Do you have any smart ways other than using your plugin?

Or can you tell me when/if you're going to sell your plugin and or template.

I heard about similar solutions from Shopify and OpenCart. Regarding my plugin I am still working on it preparing for a big market. Unfortunately, I can't say exactly when I can launch it.

I did a quick search and found this: https://apps.shopify.com/ali as of what I can see, it basicly have the same functions as your plugin, or am I missing something? Could this work great with the same kinda setup as you're having?

 

Honestly saying I have not tried it myself, so I don't know about its functionality. But the price $30 per month seems expensive taking into account that you will also need to pay another $30/month for Shopify platform.

And yes I agree, the 30$ is alittle over the top if you ask me, but i'ts a much needed thing to make this project I have in mind work as I want it too, thats why I got all exicted whne I found your thread and saw that you talked about your own working plugin. Im sure you could actually generate quite a cuople of sales of the plugin when you someday get it done and finds a fair price for lifetime acces to it, maybe with updated and such

Dear Yaros,
I recently got the above response from Aliexpress.
Could you tell me what could be the reason they didn't approve my application?
I had registered a domain and in the application form had filled in the category and the domain name which had no content in it. It was just a domain with no content on it. Could that be the reason for the disapproval? If you think so how to fix it? Shall I put in some dummy content and then reapply?
I need the api key to do the import of products using any kind of plugin available out there in the market, be it yours or anyone else's. And without an affiliate account there's no chance I can get a key.
In need of your help.

As we speak and that this threat is not updated, I assume it is because the below reason that I am facing too.

From 3rd of december I can not pay anymore for orders other that my saved registered address on Aliexpress ( I assume).

I have had more that 2000 items ordered on Aliexpress, but now whenever I want to pay I get error "
For security reasons this process can not be continued.

They told me I must send the scan of my passport, card and bank statement which I have sent but after about 9 days I have not got reply. My alipay is Verified. I still can not pay.

Payments go through when I use my address and name, but not others, other countries or cities.

I wonder if anyone else now have this problem ? Im not sure Yaros has the same problem or not but his last post was on 2 December, one day before this incident happened.

Guys please let me know if anyone have the same problem now ? Any solution ?

no Im dropshipper like Yaros , I get orders from my customers and place them on Aliepxress.
i got into the affiliate program when i saw Yaros posts here .

But by this issue, my entire work is stopped . I just wanted to check if Yaros also has this problem ? or any other person in here

 

Today I made a payment for an order which was in the same country I live . I could not pay by my cards , but only did this by the Qiwi payments.

Still I have problem to pay some orders that are in other countries, middle east. even by Qiwi or webmoney option

Anyone with the same problem ?

 

According to my experience, yes, it's better to focus on narrow niches.

Some reasons to go narrow:

1. When you make a research going narrow you get a better understanding about what you are going to sell.
2. It’s easier to be a big fish in a small pond and it’s the fastest way to grow your business and credibility.
3. It’s easier to rank higher in a web search for particular search terms.
4. Due to your specialty people will be ready to come to you again and again because you are “the one” in their minds.
5. It is always easier to focus on one audience and plan your marketing strategies.

 

The reason is that you put not active URL - a site without content. To get approved you need to put any active link, like your FB, Twitter page, etc.

 

I have not had such problems so far.

 

Hello yaros, you develop your website well, very professional, if you don't mention this is e-commerence shop I though this is a real ceremonials shop for Harry Potter.
Here are fews question to ask:
1.May I know what platform are you using ? Shopify?
2.How did you manage to add the product from Aliexpress to your website so well-organized, did you use any apps or you just do it manually?
3.Does you have ever get any complaints from customer for late delivery, I know Aliexpresss shipping to destination is quite long, but is more faster in U.S, average 15-20 days, but how about others countries, like Russia or Canada.
4.I'm trying to sell some things in U.S. Does I need to included any specification on tax ? I am located in Malaysia, I'm not sure about this.

1. Is Aliplugin available from Shopify platform?
2. How can I change price (let's say 10%) to all product once you are importing by plugin? can we customized price per ? will it change once I updates?
3. You earlier mentioned in one of your posts" After someone makes purchase from my site I click on a special link on my WP admin area that redirects me to this product on AliExpress" . how am I going to do same in my website using your Aliplugin? (your aliplugin redirected to aliexpress.com)
4. How do I imports reviews?

Great post with lots of useful information. What I would like to know, is this your full-time job? Do you run other websites alongside this one? And if so, how much time to you work on this site per day/week?

 

1. I am using WordPress
2. I am using my own Plugin that works with AliExpress API and does everything automatically.
3. My main strategy now is to take not expensive products and with free shipping option only. In this case customers are more willing to wait longer. So far, all my customers are happy.
4. I am not sure about it too.

 

1. AliPlugin is available for WP only and it is for affiliate purposes only, not dropshipping.
2. Yes, there are such options on the plugin.
3. AliPlugin is for building affiliate websites, not dropshipping ones.
4. There is a special option on AliPlugin that is called Reviews.
