University project I need your help!

for our University project We are trying to establish customer needs on the travel luggage market. We want to find out what are the most important attributes when a potential buyer decides to buy a travel suitcase in order to assure the best and most accurate product development possible.

A bit more info than the survey allowed for: my biggest consideration for a laptop/brief case is that it be able to fit under the seat of most airplanes. It is amazing how many such cases are not easily stowed under an airplane seat. For a suitcase, it must fit well in a variety of storage spaces above the seats on airplanes. So, the external size of either piece is what is most important to me, far and above any other consideration.

The noise of the wheels is a complete non-issue for me and, to me, is more dependent on the flooring that it is travelling over than on the wheels, themselves. So, in addition to it not being a real issue for me, I would be quite skeptical that any mode other than riding on a cushion of air would work to quiet a suitcase travelling on a random floor or pavement or whatever. As I think about this more, I am thinking that there also is an advantage to people hearing you come up behind them, anyway.

Note, that I have been a road warrior for many years, so I have traveled a lot and have a strong opinion on the luggage I use.

I posted my feedback. Although, I'm not much of a frequent traveler, I'd prefer a luggage that's spacious, easy to pull and ergonomic for a right handed person.

Just participated into survey. Wheels - are not thу main issue to choose.
More important factors if this soft bags or hard-shell luggage.
Ultra-lightweight or not.
