How you deal with DP scammer?

Hi all,

Last month I hired DP member to work my website. He gave me an estimate of $200, and complete in a few "day". He required 50% up front payment which I send on Jan 08, 2016 to ""

He never work on the project and make all excuses from his grandmother die, family problems, and busy.

On the 18th he said he will completed the project by the next day....and on The 21th his grandmother die....

What would you do with this scammer?

 

Go to Paypal and file a claim. You're probably not the first person filing a claim against him, so Paypal may decide it in your favor.

 

Why would you send him $100 if you don't know him well? Did you get references about him before you sent the money?

 

I bought scripts in the past that were horrible. I didn't know it until I tried them. So I filed claims explaining exactly that: Horrible scripts, misleading advertising, money wasted. Every single time Paypal gave me my money back.

 

Our manager filed dispute with paypal and he begged cancel and we did...Our manager will contact paypal, FTC and Serbia authority tomorrow.
After I posted, he took of his freelancer profile picture..

I hope you get your money back. For better accountability and visibility, I would suggest you to try freelancer.com. I've had several projects of mine outsourced there.

 

we can't get our money back because we cancel disputed therefore paypal won't allow us to file disputed again ...
