My Dropshipping Journey with AliExpress

What plugin is it?
If I already build an affiliate site and I want to turn it to dropshipping can I just import the product then remove the Alipartner plugin and change the prices? Then use it as a dropshipping?

 

I have been told to use Woocommerce Dropshiper Plugin

How exactly this drop shipping is working?
We would like to integrate this into our product. It would be helpful if someone share how drop shipping works for each popular eCommerce website.

@john.peter , usually you get XML product feed from supplier and then you make a product grid with your affiliate links from that feed at your website.
But in this case yaros made this different: he accepts payment on his website and than places orders with buyer's address for shipment.
This thread has a lot of ideas and info.

 

May I ask how you are allowed to use paypal on your website since harry potter merch are copyright? Or have you gone around that somehow?

 

I did nothing, just connected my PayPal to the site. Do you think that sellers from Ebay, Etsy.com and other marketplaces got special permissions to sell such stuff?

Thank you! AliPlugin and my Dropship plugin are different. I am using AliPlugin only for building affiliate sites. Hope to release my Dropship plugin next month.

 

Have you tried just affilating aliexpress with their plugin? is it worth the time and hassle?

 

Do you plan to charge anything for your plugin or will it be free? if free it would be neat if you could throw it up on github so it can be potentially improved etc

 

@danneniko , I think it would be better to sell this on start because it's hot and there's demand for it and payed alternatives, and after go to opensource it .
But anyway @yaros should decide himself. May be he will act completely different because he has a brilliant mind!

 

Yes, I am successfully earning with AliPlugin and AliExpress affiliate program as well. It is less that dropshipping but affiliate business does not require much time and efforts comparing with a dropshipping business model.

The Plugin will not be free.

1. You are making the order on behalf your website user, in this case how your website user receives information about the shipment tracking status? You will be keep updating them using your system?

2. How would handle the return or refund request?

3. What if any items goes out of stock in the source website?

Sorry for too many questions, I am just trying to understand how this can work.

@yaros explained all your questions in his replies in this thread.
If you are asking all in general - in this case you should address these questions to your supplier and their terms of cooperation.
But my advice to you - just start doing and you'll gain experience.

I am really interested in starting off with dropshipping in this manner but my only concern is the trademark infringement. How will the brand in question know who own's the domain and who is responsible for drop shipping website? Anyone know how those things work?
