    The defination of Marriage should be as --"Marriage is the introduction of Love between the couple occationaly". It means introduction of love infront of, witnessing , and accepting by so many people. There is a deal of love only.

    Now a days, the definition has been changed to a business deal. There are so many deal of money, security, etc etc and deal of sex but there is no any deal of love.

    If you 50 years old but you have money and you want get maryy, then no problem. So many ladies or thiere gurdian will response you. But if you not money then.................

    Maybe in India but in Western countries I see the exact opposite.

    Women are dating men who have zero prospects, then wondering why they and their kids end up living in poverty. A bit more care before they accept the first date would go a long way.

    Men know they can get women by being cool and that they don't need to worry about those convictions and jail time, their lack of employability because they're sexy or tough or whatever.

    LOL, I suspect that everyone's experience in love and romance varies quite a bit and extrapolating data from the relatively few experiences that we have as humans into something statistical is probably a waste of effort. As I was reading @sarahk 's post, I immediately thought of the two, young blondes that Sumner Redstone and Bob Kraft have had on their arms. These are two really old billionaires, of course. On the other hand, I do worry that my daughter, who recently earned her phd in Pharmacy, will end up with a complete loser who views her as a meal ticket.

    I think a new life starts after marriage, it shows its value when couple become old and children don't care them at that time both support each other

    Well, I think that marriage shows its value in many ways, whether or not your children care for you in later years. Companionship, commitment, collaboration, and much more are part of the "new life" that a marriage launches, even if children are not involved.

    I am also from India but in my case I have married with a girl whom I don't know before my marriage now we are enjoying our married life from last 3 years.

    Marriage is the most beautiful relation in this world. Relation between a man & woman based on to spend their lives together. A true marriage can lead a happy life which lead to a grow as family when they have kids.
    God made men & women for each other. Men & women have attraction for each other. Both needs each other badly. A woman need a man to protect him, even a woman can protect herself, but there is a will inside naturally to be in a shelter with her man.
    Marriage brings two families closer and start growing a new family.
    A man & a woman always need each other, so a relation based on true love feelings for each other made them to got married so its a legal way to live life together.
    In all religion a man & woman who got married & live together to grow family is being admired, as compare to all religion offend not to live together without marriage.
    This is a big question in few words cant be described easily but i gave u wt i thought.

    Hmm, our papers frequently have stories of young couples who are killed or run out of town because they want tmarriages we've even had honour killings in NZ and they're usually related to people wanting to marry which would suggest that marriage is not always admired.
    Catholics have serious issues with second marriages too.

    respected Sarahk, it is not that becaz of marriage, it is becaz of love marriage. In some countries/places/religion love marriage is not seen by respected way. They do not think love marriage good for their culture. They have their own ideas about love marriage.
    That is not fair, but the thing i have written is marriage is always a respectable relationship for human culture that brings a family system to brought a happier life.
    Becaz of marriage a family take place and we all knew that everyone loves their blood relations, always try to help them. Marriage is the loveliest relation of this world that brings to companion close forever until/unless anything wrong happen in life that will be written in luck.

    What about the men who are all lovey dovey until married but beat their wives after the wedding day?
    Not the kind of "closeness" most of us find admirable!

    There is no question about right or wrong. Marriage is a sweetest relationship of man & woman made for each other for their comforts by GOD. This is human mind which makes anything right or wrong. Its not in anyone's hands. Some cultures are different do not know why.

    Any man who beat a woman is a coward, most of them are frustrated and wants to get rid of their frustration by doing so. They have other problems and they cant do anything outside then they wants to take out their own rebel from inside and only find a weak wife to beat. They are all shit who do so.
