My Dropshipping Journey with AliExpress

I was just curious to know how is business going with your website. Interested to know if you make good sales and had issues with deliveries?

 

I don't use such tool.

 

Now I have more than 20 stores and sales go pretty well - each month brings me new profit records. Delivery is ok, does not give much issues.

 

Do you have any plan to increase social networks(like reddit) in your social rabbit plugin?

 

Yes, planning to add more networks, but not sure about reddit.

 

Thanks so much for all your information. It is helpful. I am just starting to make my own store and I was wondering about one thing. I'm pretty sure we are not considered to be importing from China if we do the drop ship method from AliExpress, but just wanted your opinion on that. I have a biz license, but I would need to update it if I was actually importing from China. I think if we buy in bulk wholesale and sell on Amazon, then it would be a yes. But as another site put it, it is basically arbitrage. I sell to one person and buy retail from another (AliExpress) at a lower price, just happens to be from China.

This site was very inspiring. Started my journey as well. However its been 2 months since i applied as an affiliate with aliexpress but there is no reply from them in anyway. Do you have any other recommendation?

My orders are around 50+ right now but I having a trouble in aliexpress. No matter what I do, all my credit cards are beign blocked after 10 transactions.

How do you manage that? I even tried Payoneer and I got my card blocked for 24 hours.

Do you make 1 transaction for every sale you made. Or do you buy a bulk of products and send the address in a file or something?


I search for aliexpress gift cards but couldn't find anything.

 

Could you explain in further what system blocks you? AliExpress or your bank? I have such issues two times when I was ordering many products for a short period of time. After I called my bank they activated the card again and I continued making payments on Ali.

 

Both ways. I already call my bank 3 times cause every 9 orders I got blocked. Then a day later aliexpress cancel 17 orders I already contact the store in aliexpress if I can make a bulk order and give them the address in a file. That's why I asked you how you manage that?

I don't understand how the people who claim that make millions of dollars on e-commerce + aliexpress manage 100 to 200 orders a day.

 

Hello Yaros - I am just considering getting into drop shipping and came across this site/your post. In my mind, what you have done really is a Hurculean task. Amazing. I have about a million questions for you, but I'll start with this one - I see several people here bringing up the issue of Ali Express' affiliate program. To me, this isn't that big of a deal. Am I wrong, or doesn't that just give you a slight discount ? Couldn't you just run your operation without it until you could bring that in ?

Yes sure, it is just a small cash-back as a bonus to your main dropshipping profit. You can go without it.

 

Hi Thank you for your post. I am looking into this as well. How are you doing by now with your shop? How is the support from Ali?
Regarding your shop appearance, I have one comment which you can work on. It looks too much like Chinese store. Do they not have any option for a store design according to your niche or the shop of western countries?
As I am interested to sign up with them, I am just wondering how are their templates.
Is it necessary to have an advert with your website?

Sorry, did not get your point. Order store from who? I am using my own plugin and themes that I developed myself.

Sorry. I should have been more clear. I thought you are using AliDropship.com. The appearance of your shop, specially the colour combinations seemed similar to AliExpress to me.
There is another plugin from Shopify. AliDropship looks bit dodgy as it does not have enough information and takes only one time payment. Which plug in you are using? I have my own jewellery shop and thinking to have an online store too with dropshipping from Alibaba or AliExpress.
My biggest concern is the shipping and stock, as none of them I contacted, would want to block products. Any suggestion, since you have bit of an experience by now?

I am using AliDropship plugin and AliDropship.com is my project that I am developing now for the project. I don't have any problems with stock. The plugin updates products on my sites automatically and remove the products that are out of stock.

First of all I have to thank you in the name of every entrepreneur looking to start a business in the e-commerce industry. Really, I think everything you do changes people's lives in a priceless way. Secondly, I have a few questions:

1) Are you able to add non-Aliexpress items manually (editing all details that would normally be automatically imported) ? I mean, if I would have a local supplier whose products I would like to personally ship, could I add these products on the same pages as the ones fetched from Aliexpress? Would the listings look the same?
2) Do you believe it is best to stick to very specific niches? Do you consider "African art", for example, a narrow enough niche or is it too broad to ever have any succes?
3) Is it better to register a domain that contains high-ranking keywords or just look for a clever domain and focus on building your brand on it?
