Which is correct? "Famous for unique beaches Antalya, is located on Mediterranean region of Turkey."
"Antalya which is famous for unique beaches, is located on Mediterranean region of Turkey."

    Either of these are OK:

Famous for its unique beaches, Antalya is located on Mediterranean region of Turkey.
Antalya, which is famous for unique beaches, is located on Mediterranean region of Turkey.

Be sure you put the comma in the correct places!

As per heat23, BOTH are correct IF the commas are in the correct locations.

And, if you want to sound a bit better, perhaps "Antalya, famous for its unique beaches, is situated in the Mediterranean region of Turkey"

The one I wrote is correct, if a bit more formal (written style). The one you posted is not well formed. It's missing a couple of commas (after Antalya and after beaches) and you don't really need the "being" in that sentence.

Definitely don't need the being. I'd go for your second example of the two but @PoPSiCLe's version reads the best.

Freelance writer here! This is the correct one.

Analyta, which is famous for unique beaches, is located in THE Mediterranean region of Turkey.

the clause is nonessential so it needs commas.

but if you want the high quality version of that sentence:

Analyta's famous beaches are located in Turkey's Mediterranean region.

I think both sentences are all right. It is just that there is a missing comma before Antalya in the first sentence.

@willmore83 is doing well - ESL and hasn't claimed to be a writer etc. Being able to identify a sentence that is written "better" than another doesn't mean you will always write with similar skill.

I do not pick on those who attempt to write English and are ESL. In fact I support them and applaud their efforts. And the fact that he is not a writer is self evident.
But I'd like to remind you that this thread is about *grammar*.

Perhaps you and I differ In our conceptions of wit/humor? My previous post was designed to be such.
