Exactly.

There are 2 options earning with AliExpress.
1. AliExpress affiliate program. You register with Portals Program and can build affiliate stores with the help of AliPlugin. For each purchase generated from your affiliate sites (it means a user visits your site, redirected to AliExpress via your affiliate link and completes purchase at AliExpress.com). You get min. of 8% commission on any purchase made by this user.

2. AliExpress Dropshipping. I am using another plugin to create dropshipping websites to work with AliExpress. When a user buys from my site directly, I order the same item at AliExpress with the shipping details of my customer, keeping the difference between my and seller's price. AliExpress sends the item directly to my customer. So, it is another business model that does not deal with AliExpress affiliate program. However, since my dropshipping sites are using the platform of AliPlugin and AliExpress affiliate API, I can order necessary products on AliExpress (to send to my customers) using my affiliate links to get commission as an additional bonus to my dropshipping income.

 

Ok perfect, but i have looked the aliplugin site and at my first impression you don' t understand very well that your gain comes from aliexpress affliate link.... If you would like a council you have to explain better this thing.
When will be aviable i will be very interested to buy your dropshipping plugin, then keep us updated on developments ...

I would like to open my own dropshipping website, but I stumbled over a problem. When I order a product from Aliexpress I have to pay 2 additional things: VAT and the customs tax (this tax varies from country to country). As the products come from China, the majority of customers are obliged to pay these taxes, so it will be pretty clear for them that said products are coming from China. Was this ever a problem for you? Also, will customers pay taxes for your price or for the original seller's price?

I have never got any complaints about VAT and taxes, but I stated on my site: Different countries have different tax rule on the imported goods. Therefore, it will be better if you know your county’s custom policies before your order in case of some troubles.

Yes sure, you can edit titles, descriptions, images, even add your own products not from AliExpress.

Let's say, for one of my own weird policies, i have to make it transparent, i mean i will indicate in every product on my website that it's a drop shipping and item will be shipped from one of the suppliers from AliExpress.

What do you think about this? Will this effect the buying decisions?

 

In this case I do not recommend that you start your dropshipping business.

 

maybe you can say that you work directly with suppliers in China (without actually saying aliexpress). and make the letters really small LOL

I read complete blog about drop shipping and affiliate and I must say you done pretty awesome job. I saw you’re FAQ and I would like to ask few more thinks that probably all want to know.

1. Did you open firm/company so you could start your drop shipping job? If yes did you open in EU, and how much that cost/month?
2. Do you pay additional fee to supplier for preparing and shipping products? I saw on some blog that they charge this?
3. I found somewhere that amazon don’t allow that you make mini shop for affiliate that look like amazon. You need to have blog, articles …. Is the same with Ali? It much easier to have just a store than to have blog and you must write all day articles.
