This type of leak drives the manufacturer's R&D, Design, Marketing and legal departments crazy! ;)

Yes, that is true, especially for more "modern" industries. I have not sold to the auto industry for ten years, but for the couple of decades that I did interact with them, I found them to be highly secretive, suspicious, and even paranoid about competitors learning anything about their future plans. They are an old, stodgy group, in my experience. Many tech companies, on the other hand, like nothing more than a new product leak going viral before it is released.

There is a big market for mid sized trucks right now. Ford is bringing the ranger back and gm already cashed in with the colorado....this jeep should do well if it ever makes it to the public.

It was supposed to be a humorous post. That pickup truck looks exactly like a jeep with a bed behind it. Why secrecy? If anything they should've announced it loud and clear instead of hiding it like it was some incredible, new concept or something. That's basically was my point.
