Why is Adsense not showing ads that matces my blog niche?

Please help me and review my blog and tell me where i have gone wrong that made adsense not showing right ads in my blog.

Maybe not much ads in that niche. Although it did show me one Jesus ad.
Anyways all I see on your blog are ads. Too clumsy.

Actually he's right there may not be that many advertisers bidding in your niche because I only saw one church ad out of 3 spots you have placed.

 

I've just taken a look at your site and didn't see one AdSense ad related to your niche. One ad is a bank-related ad and one is an online shopping related ad.

Are you targeting keywords on your pages? I agree with the others - there might not be a lot of advertisers in the niche. You can try to find niche-related affiliate programs and use their banners instead. If your site receives a large amount of visitors, you can also sell ad space on your site. Doing a quick search I can find the following keywords related to your domain:

* prayer for our nation and its leaders (Search volume: 40, Position: 65)
* the deeper christian life (Search volume: 30, Position: 95)
* thy word have i hid in my heart (Search volume: 1,000, Position: 47)

You're already ranking in Google for these keywords. Not at the top, but you can definitely do some link building to increase your ranking.

You need to search for keywords that you can target. Specifically keywords with a high CPC value. The keywords mentioned above have very low CPC values. Furthermore, you need to do some on-page SEO in order to optimize your pages to include specific keywords.

You can use Google Keyword Planner or SEMRush (Use Google to find them) to find keywords. Below is a list of your main competitors - use them to find keywords you can target.

I cannot guarentee these are all related to your site, but they all pick up for the keywords you are currently ranking for.

Once you find keywords to target, you should follow an on-page SEO strategy:

• Include the keyword in the page title
• Include the keyword in the headers (h1, h2, h3)
• Include the keyword in the first paragraph of your content
• Include the keyword in the last paragraph of your content
• Include the keyword in the "alt" tag in one of the images on the page
• Include the keyword a couple of times in the body of your content

Keep your keyword density at around 1.5% - this means that for every 100 words you type, include your keyword once. Do NOT use your keyword too much, though.

Another aspect that you should consider is the fact that advertisers can target specific countries. For example, I'm from South Africa. When I visit your site, I see adverts for "ABSA Bank" and "Bid or Buy" mostly. These are most likely generic ads since the advertisers that uses AdWords to promote their sites related to your niche have chosen NOT to target visitors in my country. You might also be in a country where no-one in your niche is targeting visitors.

The alternative would be to add affiliate banners, create and sell your own product (also through banner ads) or to make use of an AdSense alternative. If you find an alternative to AdSense (Simply Google "Best AdSense alternatives") - be sure to send them an email before signing up. Tell them about your problem and ask if they have advertisers in your niche.

I dont understand what you mean by "turn off interest based ads"?

 

They stopped showing ads based on your content a few years ago. Back then I still used AS and when they started doing that my earnings went down considerably. The same happened to quite a few publishers. I am not sure how, but somehow the advertisers win in that scenario.

How do you interpret this sentence: However, you cannot opt out of showing ads to users based on their previous interactions with the advertiser, such as visits to an advertiser's website, known as remarketing.

Sounds like we can't really opt out.
