    I would just use Wordpress combined with Easy Digital Downloads. pretty niffty software with tons of great addons. Although It can get pretty pricey considering the full marketplace package is 199.99

    What I find ridiculous with shopify and many specialized e-commerce platforms is all these paid plugins with monthly subscription. For example even for a single "product zoom" plugin , you have to pay $3 / month... With Woocommerce you have accessed of an infinity of great wordpress plugins/customization tools for like $20-$30 in average. Big budget or small , I'd rather prefer woocommerce just need to get installed in a good host and voilà.

    But it seems that you don't have enough experience to know that magento is the most complicated and of course too much difficult for beginners. It is also useless for 90% of the shops that will never have more than an order once a week.

    ecommerce business is a current trend of business. most of all popular shops creates those sites and sell those products. 90% of shops got a single order in once a week. I think its not possible for 90% of shops.
