    If you read the guide it will take you 1 minute or maybe 2, so Alibaba obviously think it is not complicated. It is nothing like a step by step guide. It is just an attempt to make sure you only buy through their website and don't go direct to the supplier.

    In reality, they make it seem so simple that any dummy can do it without knowing anything about safe sourcing and even less about importing provided you use their Trade Assurance or Secure Payment systems.

    If you really want to know how to safely source products from any country, have a look at the basic step by step guide I have published on my thread: Ask Me Anything About Product Sourcing and Importing

    Go there and ask me some questions. I have real life experience over a long lifetime, so I can answer most if not all questions on the subject. I am not an employee of Alibaba just following the company line: "Use our trade protection service and everything will be OK."
