I have developed a training diary for motocross racers. I sell the software on my website.

Do you have any idea of how i can make money from this software in another way than just selling it?

Can i make money from my demo in some way? :)

Maybe you can partner or sponsor with some of your clients maybe sponsor an event and share the revenue or similar

Or create a badge/logo/button/banner that folks will put up on their site who follow your sport then that will bring in traffic to your site

Create a brand with your software, once the brand is a known name, the business will follow

Your users will need to store their data somewhere, right?
Why don't you offer some "offsite" application data hosting: your users may benefit having an up-to-data backup, and they can format their PC without losing data; even more: if they buy a new PC, they *should* be able to download their data from the internet and be up&running in a few minutes.

For a small fee, you'll also get a source of income: backup subscriptions... even you can end up giving away the software.

Plus many many more. Also, I dont think motocross diary users are going to want to to do offsite backup.
