Social Bookmarks = Traffic gold mine??

    I have been experimenting with traffic from sites like stumbleupon.com and furl.com
    I got about 4 websites I'm using for the test and some of them have gotten massive amounts of traffic and retained a good flow some of them did not.

    For me personally stumbleupon.com worked the best
    Anyone else with similar experiences? Any social bookmarking sites you recommend?

    I've worked with all kind of social bookmarking sites for decades, but none of them turned out to be a good traffic source. So, what did you do?

    Personally social bookmarks didn't work for me or anyone I know. The best they can do is to diversify your anchor text profile and backlinks.

    I didn't use SBM sites ever and have no idea how much they will help in getting traffic. But do not do SBM for link building Purpose.

    I'm also using bookmark sites for link building purpose but I see that it doesn't get much traffic. The site the OP showed above is dead and cannot access.

    Social bookmarking if used correctly is actually very effective. It is a very underrated way of generating traffic.
