How you promote facebook page?

I have Minecraft website and try to get traffic with facebook page. But how I can promote it? What is your experience?

There are a lot of ways promoting fb page. One of them is by joining communities by joining fb groups. In my situation, it is somehow effective to me.

 

You can promote it in related Facebook groups. There are tons of "Promote your FB page here" type of groups. Not sure about quality of traffic, many people will ask like for like. But it will help to grow your page and become more visible for interested users. All for free. Paid advertising of course. Or adding links and promoting on your other social media accounts.

Join gaming forums and promote your page and website there when appropriate.

This is probably the most effective and effortless way to grow a social media presence. As long as your content is catchy (it doesn't even need to be quality to go viral, but if it is it will stay popular longer) it will make its way around the social media world from one person's contact list to another as the posts are shared. Basically the definition of going viral.

For it to really work you need two things; quality content and a large network yourself.

For it to work really well over time, make sure that your network is all killer and no filler. If trusted names are promoting things, you will enjoy instant credibility and that's when things can really go viral.

My only issue with this, coming from a sales background, is that it is a little less than genuine and may not necessarily help drive the traffic you are looking for. For example, many pages will offer a share-for-share program but their business, target market, and in some cases way they promote their own products may not be applicable or appropriate for yours. If you are simply after likes, then by all means, go for it. If you want your page to be a viable business tool, be careful which pages you agree to this quid-pro-quo with so that you can actually mutually benefit. Also, make sure to reserve a certain amount of time per day to scan through each partners' page so that you are up to date in what you are sharing.

One final thought, if they share more than you do you potentially run the risk of advertising for others more than they advertise for you.

Again, I'm not saying DON'T do it, I'm just saying that like with everything else in business you really need to pay attention with whomever you do business with.

Find other groups of similar interest, find other fan pages and comment there, be smart about it, add your link sometimes. Also comment on blogs and leave your fan page under website field.

I think posting in facebook groups its a good idea but you cannot post there directly your fanpage .You must be smart and post nice content and some time share your fanpage

 

Minecraft is massive on Youtube. If your doing videos on their you could put a link to your page. Another way is to run a competition.

 

Create a page for your Minecraft, join forums and group for free.
You can also pay for you advertisement on the Facebook site.

You can promote your FB page using Facebook Ads. Another way already said many peoples. Just join niche related groups and promote there.

 

Go to your Facebook business Page, On the bottom left-hand side of the page, click the Promote button. Then select Promote your Page. Now find the Audience section. Set your Budget by selecting a pre-filled budget or click Choose Your Own and type in a custom budget.

It is hard nowadays to promote a fb page. A couple of years ago it was damn easy to promote a page. There were share4share groups where you get like 500 likes a day just for free you share a link and someone else does the same for your link. I don't know if there are still available such groups. But paid reach is now what works best.

Join gaming groups on Facebook and promote your page on them. If you are a member of gaming forums put a link to your Facebook page in your signature on those sites.

 

You can join in groups or simply create interesting posts which could bring lots of audience to your website.
