    Hi,

It is probably some spammer protection that is in place. I will definitely look into the matter and see what I can come up with. Thanks for the heads up.

    Hi, :)

Thanks for the interest and offer, but at this time I would like to focus on really building a site that is of value to my visitors. The general reception to my idea has so far been very positive, so I would like to pursue it. I am thinking that I can save visitors many hours of "search time" on the Web by aggregating the very best sites. In time I will see if this idea, or any alternative idea, might work. But thanks for the interest in the name.

    Regards,
    Rich

    Hello Rich,

If you someday decide to sell it, don't do it without contacting me. I can make it be seen by big boys. It's definitely worth $xxx, xxx , with or without content.

    Hi,

:) Yes, this would be another possible route, but I would ask you this question. Would such a domain be interesting to you or to anyone else in this world. While I am sure the current version of links.com will not be the final one, I feel that I am at least trying to do something interesting with it. I agree that there are many different ways to monetize it, but I have patience and hopefully come up with a good mixture of interesting, useful content that in turned can be better monetized.

From your point of view, how can I make the content more interesting so that you would come back more often. Thanks for any feedback.

I would remove the adsense from the site. Having adsense before you have loads of traffic will only turn people off.

Yes, I was concerned about this. I put the domain up for critique on the bloggers forum. So far, no one has commented that this is a problem, but I think it may be a problem. Do you have any personal experiences with this when launching a new domain? Thanks for the comment, it is something that is very much on my mind.

My personal opinion is that very few web savvy people click on ads whether they are adsense or not. If nobody clicks on them then why have them?

Unless you are making hundreds of dollars per day from adsense then I would remove it and try to make the site into something more web 2.0.

Most of the people on this forum seem to be happy to use adsense to make less than $10 per day so you won't see many people recommending you remove it. ;)

You could really do with a killer web 2.0 design as well.

Superb domain and i believe the domain name itseft worth more everything. Your site have google pr 4 and my suggestion is purchase backlink from high pr sites ( 7 and above ). Additional, you may try to create a nice header for your site.

You can sell link slots once your google pr reach 5 and above. Good luck and all the best.

    Hi Mad4,

I understand where you are coming from and I am going to think about it. Right now, the Adsense ads are more for a guage of progress, than any real source of revenue. I'll consider your suggestion as I get more feedback.

As for a web 2.0 design, could you define this for me a bit more or point me to an example? Thanks for all of your advice and critiques.

    Hi zinruss,

Thanks for you suggestions. Are there any PR 7 and above that you would recommend? I definitely need to add a header and some spice to the page, but I decided to start very minimalistic and add based upon comments. Color and heading seem to come up over and over again. Do you have any opinion about ruinning Adsense? Thanks again for taking the time to critique.

LeapFish.com estimates that your domain is worth $1,360,348.

I'd cash in on this son of a bitch right away ;)

This site has an amazing domain name and you are suggesting buying PR and then selling links?

You need to find a cross between boing boing, digg, delicious and create the web 2.0 version of dmoz.

    As for design.....
