    I’ve been looking for a way to access my other phone remotely when I’m not with it.

    There was a time I got an important text on my other phone which I don’t take around like my mobile phone. I couldn’t access it and I was wishing I had a direct remote access to it.

    Does anyone have an idea of what could be done to prevent carrying a “bulk” of phone about?

    Perhaps, a way to access your phones in one phone.

    Any alternative solution will also be very appreciated.

    If it's android you can use mightytext to monitor calls and texts - it's awesome
    If it's apple you probably need to have a mac as well.

    Both phone types can use a tool called "OurPact" which gives you a lot of control over another person's phone remotely. Probably overkill but it may be a solution.

    I will try your solutions first before considering any other answers I may get in the future.

    BTW, I don’t know if those third party apps require a fee or subscription.
    I should look into that.

    You can use any cloud. You can store notes, photos, videos and any files there. Access to the cloud is usually accessible from any device. It can be any phone or laptop.

    It lets him access the content, but not necessarily the phone. I wonder if that's enough for @oyeahei ?

    I see what is written about the important text. I assume that this is about notes. Notes can be written in any format.
